Masterclass event in Somain!
The Muse and the Municipality of Somain invite you to participate in an exceptional Masterclass with Alexis Bourguignon, Michael Joussein and Julien Raffin (see his profile), musicians from Don’t forget the lyrics, Taratata, M.Pokora, Ibrahim Maalouf, Christophe Maé , Yuri Buenaventura and many others…
On the program: individual instrumental technique and section work in contemporary music, jazz and funk styles on pieces from Earth, Wind and Fire, Tower of Power but also Nougaro, Ben l’Oncle Soul and many others.
The Masterclass is open to all saxophonists (alto, tenor, baritone), trumpeters and trombonists with a minimum level of 2CC (3rd cycle recommended).
As the number of places is limited, participants will be notified whether or not their registration has been validated and whether fees have been collected after the closing date.
Participants will also receive sheet music to prepare for the masterclass.
An EXCEPTIONAL concert will be given on Sunday March 8 at 4 p.m. with all the participating musicians to close the masterclass.

Saturday March 7, in partnership with the Lille store L’ilot Vents Yanagisawa will be present with exceptional saxophones as well as the nouveau BooStar et la ligature YanySixs et un very wide choice of mouthpieces (Yanagisawa, Theo Wanne, Gottsu) and Marca reeds. Trumpets (Van Laar) and trombones (Adams and Sierman) will also be there!
